vice provost shut down asu greek life now at iu
by: ASU Coming to IU
IU has hired a new Vice Provost that was an intrical part of shutting down the greek life scene at Arizona State University. Greek Life needs to pull together to not let this happen. Honestly everyone overlooks all the good that the Greek System has done for IU.
Look up Arizona State Greek Life. They are now rebuilding it in a "village style" housing situation.
Every president of each house (Sorority & Fraternity) needs to get together and start working toward a common goal. Maybe start by bringing back Greek Week.

The ASU housing shut down was awful. The university acted like they were doing it because houses were unsafe and then created something called a greek life village which is basically a bunch of dorms with letters on them. School has power over everything there. Absolutely killed greek life. Can't let that happen here.

Don’t know why everyone wants to disaffiliate, Ik kappa sig and dchi got kicked but let’s be honest, dchi getting kicked is good and ksig was dumb enough to alcohol haze their pledges. And 4 the houses on c and d, I’m pretty sure they’re all gonna be fine and on campus, chill

Colorado broke ties like a decade ago, and their system is stronger than it has ever been. Students run Dance Marathon almost entirely on our own and the same with Little 500. Sure there are alumni advisors but the bulk of the work is done by students. This could work but it would require work and alumni support. Its not all green grass for sure but the status quo isn't working and IU is not interested in our success.
