Go in open minded it does nothing for you to have opinions on houses before you go into rush. Just going to the houses will give you the most genuine feeling on if you would fit there! Go to their philanthropies in the fall and just keep an open mind during rush

Do not think you are guaranteed a bid because you are a legacy. You will end up shell shocked when you get cut. Keep an open mind about all chapters.

Go in with an open mind and know that legacy status for IU typically only gets you an invite to the next round. The harshest rounds for legacies are the final round before pref. That is when a lot of them get cut from their legacy houses if not sooner. There are a few houses that are more strict about cutting legacies.

Chapters change year to year as the girls change. Within each chapter you will find sub set groups of girls so to think you would only fit in one house is not true. In each chapter you will find your sub group of girls. Best advice is to try and ignore the majority of the post on here as they are simply peoples opinion and not based on anything factual. Once you get to your Junior year you will realize how little the ranking mentality matters.
