honest opinion wanted

Usually, chapters are ranked based on their pairs, but I think that's not going to work going forward. It looks like there are more quality sororities than there are fraternities. So it's totally conceivable for a good chapter like AXO or Gamma Phi or even a strong middle chapter to have to pair down because of the lack of good chapters. A decent middle tier chapter is going to have to pair with someone like Theta Chi to have a Little 5 pair. Phi Delt is going to luck into a decent pair too.

Sigma Chi is considered a good chapter but their parties are super average and at midnight it becomes full of freshman and sophomore girls who aren't affiliated. Looks like Beta won't be able to pair. Kappa Sig is gone. That leaves Pi Kapps as top dog and they would rather pair for a good party than for rep, meaning they would rather have fun with Gamma Phi or ZTA than worry about the top tier pair with Pi Phi or APhi.

So where does that leave the traditional ranking method? Looks like we're going to have to base "ranks" on things more than socials.

Here’s an idea! Don’t rank! Might enjoy yourself a little more if you quit obsessing about what other people think of you

I kinda think the OP is trying to get people to think about something more than social status like maybe GPA, community service, or maybe, character? I don't know. Deciding how good a house is based on a lot of other things doesn't sound that crazy.
