who are the 8 houses doing informal?
by: hahaI know that 8 houses are taking girls through informal but im not sure who they are. I think some of the houses it could be are adpi, agd, asa, dphie, dg, tpa, and sk but im not sure. anyone know who they are?

Then your sister is uninformed. They are replacing girls who dropped over break on the DL. Girl who did not go through recruitment was invited over early this week.

I don’t think you’re right, only 1 girl dropped from their PC... I don’t think they’d do informal over 1 girl. Unless you consider giving out one COB “doing informal”

thier pledge class was too big to fit everyone in the house, they aren’t asking anyone else if girls drop

APhi purposely misses quota so they can offer bids to girls they like whose GPAs are too low to go through formal recruitment. They have done it every year for the last three or four years. It's one of their dubious recruitment strategies.
How do you purposely miss quota? Under invite for pref and be rude to girls at pref who you want to rank you second or single preference.

That's not true at all. Some girls have to miss bid day because of conflicts and they obviously aren't in the photos.

There is no class that lasts until 10:00 pm on a Monday night. No one has conflicts for the bid day photo. They didn't even get bids until after 8:30. By the time they got to the houses, got their swag and had time to take an organized photo, it had to be at least 10.
Every PNM takes off work that night if they have a job. There are NO conflicts. Nice try though.
If everyone would be more open about not making quota, giving COBs right after bid day and doing informal it wouldn't be such a big deal. It's not on other campuses.

I mean I have a lab that goes from 7:05-9:50 at night but sure, no one has class that late 🙄

It seems like every sorority unofficially does informal whether you phrase it because you missed quota or too many girls are graduating or we use it as a recruitment strategy. Basically it’s hard to get an informal bid because it is based on knowing someone unless the house makes it public.

and by for sure, I am sure because they have stated that they are doing it via their social media...they also had links up to interest forms to express interest
it's getting kinda late in the informal recruitment game at this point...informal recruitment doesn't last forever
