At this point truthfully asa dphie and tpa are all about on par after tpa and dphie has the benefit of rushing girls out of a house. Before tpa and dphie got houses asa was considered slightly higher than both of them so they are still riding off of that and not struggling at all to my knowledge.
It’s key to keep in mind that these houses do THREE different recruitment processes (informal in the fall and spring and formal in the spring) so things can change a lot faster for them than they do for other chapters who only recruit new girls once a year. Although asa isn’t currently struggling for new mems they might be once SK goes unhoused and is the better unhoused chapter to choose from.
All four of these houses are going for quantity over quality rn because if you don’t have the numbers you don’t have a chapter. If you look at their new PCs they all took some really pretty trendy etc. girls and of course some duds bc they have to pay the bills. Interested to see what these chapters can do with an organized informal in the fall. This is a very rare occasion at IU that housed chapters are doing open informal so I’m excited to see how it goes for everyone

Have you really seen any TPAs? The new pledge class is an improvement, but it's a ton of girls who preffed ADPi and AGD over TPA and got their second choice. Most of them stayed because they know it's their last chance to be Greek, lots of sophomore in that pledge class. More than most chapters. And their are some really big "athletic" girls in that chapter. Look at their recruitment video form this year, there they are front and center. Three girls from dorm went TPA, all of ranked them near the bottom each round and kept having to go back.
They are marginally better than ASA and slightly below SDT. One more year housed and they will get there.
