okay, don't "yell type" at me here with this

Hey! I made this post. Again it’s just set as an example. A lot of the houses may not be “correctly” placed in some people’s eyes and that’s just because l set them up like that as an example. But l didn’t intend to set it up like this to show a “politically correct” way of describing the Greek System; sure you can view it as that if you want.... But really all l wanted it to be viewed as a more ACCURATE way of describing them socially. When you say Top VS Bottom houses, that implies to me that the top are better than the bottom, and lumps them in a group that the top are better overall academically, socially, in attractiveness, involvement, and more, which we know is not the case at all. Look at ADPi and AOPi, they are both considered “middle” yet they fight for first and second in grades every semester. Or like Theta and DG win Little 5 every year, yet they’re still not “top”. DPHIE has one of the most diverse houses on campus in terms of involvement and cultural representation, yet they’re the bottom of the pack? To say that these houses are bottom and middle is not fair to them. Describing the 1st tier as the houses that party the hardest and throw ragers vs. the 4th tier where they don’t party as hard or party with off campus seems a little more chill to me.

Your logic is spot on. To the person who thinks that calling a chapter "Top" or "Bottom" is truthful, you are just wrong. YOU are labeling those chapters that way based on YOUR personal value system. The academic rankings, which are important to me, tell a completely different story of who is "top" and who is "bottom". (Yes, Pi Phi I am looking at you.) As was said, the chapters holding trophies at Little 5, will show who is "top" and who is "bottom" demonstrating a standard of athleticism, perseverance, competitiveness and drive. There are lots of criteria by which a chapter can be judged. If someone is using a different standard, it does not make yours the "truth" and their "PC".

Here’s why: Pike and Skulls used to consistently pair with TPA and ASA. They both went unpaired for quals/Little5 this year. Both of them are unhoused, and they’re not getting big enough pledge classes to branch out enough. They’re trying to get housed pairs, but Beta Sig and Phi Psi are getting those instead. Therefore, skulls and pike have decided to go unpaired rather than pair with an unhoused sorority. They’re basically stuck where they’re at until either one of them gets a house.

skulls asked both unhoused to pair and I know pike asked at least one. They just didn't get chosen for little 5 this time around. To move up they will need to get a house but I don't think either are interested in the teke house so they're likely to stay where they are which is some of the better unhoused
