how hard is it to get a bid at mid tier fraternities

I consider myself a pretty social and normal guy but I rushed some mid tier houses (spent pretty much all my time at 2 in particular) and didn't get into either one. I know unhoused frats will take anyone and top tiers are really hard to get into especially without connections but how many of the people who rush mid tiers manage to get bids?
