all 26 npcs?

Do you think that there will ever be a chance that IU has all 26 NPC sororities?
Surely Tri Delt will be back in a few years. Will Alpha Sigma Tau, Phi Sigma Sigma, and Sigma Sigma Sigma ever place chapters here?

PSS and AST have never had a presence at IU. SSS did briefly.
I think it was SSS that had the option, was chosen to colonize, and backed out. I believe PSS has also rejected any opportunity due to the housing situation and a lack of interest in inevesting a ton and failing.
These groups have smaller national presences and no money to waste on a potentially failed colonization. I'm surprised TPA moved forward, especially with how many colonies they've had to close recently due to lack of interest. Unless IU can guarantee housing, I can't see PSS or AST playing ball.

The university isn’t selling any more land for Greek organizations to build on, so if they did, they’d have to be unhoused. It’s the same reason why one of the sororities is going back to being unhoused in the near future. Not to mention, Tri Delt nationals has been having so many problems with other chapters outside of IU that I highly doubt they’ll be coming back anytime too soon.
Of course, it’s possible that if the culture changes and Tri Delt’s reputation doesn’t follow them, we’ll be back to 23. But until that change happens we definitely won’t have all 26.

I don't know about AST, but Tri Sigma is not interested in coming here any time soon. Phi Sig I think is more interested in building chapters at schools with a big and healthy greek life. IU has a big greek life, but we're kidding ourselves if we think it's healthy. They would be throwing money away by colonizing here until we get it together a little more.
#4 by: Maybe more chapters
The organisations you mention are all strong nationally. Did Afro delt National keep the house on east 3rd? If so, they will be well-positioned to come back. Sororities (and fraternities) must respond to whenever the university will look for new chapters. Depends on rush numbers- many houses added the last 10 years to respond to very low % from rush sign-up to actually getting a bid. Those numbers are much stronger now thanks to having more chapters on campus and the seniors-can-live-out policies.

Everyone keeps saying that iU isn’t selling anymore land to anyone but is that actually a fact or is it something that people are just saying? As in, has anyone on this board actually ever had a conversation with IU real estate about it? A new lot has not been sold at IU since the 90s but that doesn’t mean IU isn’t willing. I know of example the Pike was given a letter of support from IU real estate to build a house. All the land on Jordan was intended to be for Greek housing so it wouldn’t make sense for IU to refuse a good offer
The other thing is that if IU won’t sell, a chapter with financing backing could buy contiguous properties in Bloomington and have them reZoned so they could build a house. I would think there are a few properties on Atwater as well as a few vacant lots on 7th Street a block from Sigma Chi that would work nicely..
