guys - does it matter what the house gpa is?

I think you should definitely take the house GPA into account when rushing a fraternity. You should surround yourself with people who want to be successful after college, and not just party and get drunk every single night. These will be the guys you will be spending the next 4 years with, so make sure they have similar passions and goals as you.

Yeah the houses with good gpas have much different vibes. The dues in houses like sig ep sig chi and Fiji are definitely gonna be more focused on studying than the guys flexing daddy’s money in beta and pi kaps

As the others have said, that is very important, and with that being said, here are the top 10 IFC GPAs on the last grade report:

5. Beta - 3.291

Also to note is these fraternities didn't even make it to a 3.0:

There was an article released on this site a few months ago about fraternities at IU. The majority of fraternities that have gotten kicked off or suspended are ones that also had some of the lowest grades.
