southern belle sororities?

there's people who dress to almost every culture here. even in the greek system. Maybe not collectively one certain sorority, but many girls in different chapters.
@YES I'm not sure where you're looking on campus to say "VERY few," because I could name countless girls who not only dress like southerners but also are southerners.
But regardless @Southern Belle, using that as your requirement isn't a good way to find a place to "fit in." And claiming you're a southern belle isn't a good way either. Your personality, style, and how you carry yourself should prove that without saying anything.

IU isn't exactly a "girls in pearls, guys in ties" school. Our greek system dresses and acts differently depending on the chapter but I can tell you that you won't see much stereotypical sorority life around here. That's not to say our greeks don't kick ass but it does mean that you're in Bloomington, Indiana and not the south. Culture is regional and this is the midwest.

How would I know you wouldn't say it in person? Just like you said, I can't tell your personality.
And you took my comment the wrong way. I'm saying your personality and style will show you are a classic southern girl. Not calling yourself one. It wasn't meant to be hateful or sassy. I was just trying to say that you shouldn't look for that one characteristic in a chapter.
