fraternity rush week

Okay you guys I'm not that guy I definitely have not worn cargo shorts except maybe in like preschool... I just usually wear plain Jane, non graphic design, nice T-shirts and jeans. Was just wondering if I would need to bust out polo shirts for rush or if I'd be fine wearing what the hell I normally wear.

this is coming from a girl so i may not be totally accurate but just don't force it.
don't overload on the vineyard vines or typical "frat" clothes if thats not you cause you'll look like a try-hard.....just wear khaki pants/shorts (depending on the weather when you're rushing fall or winter) and a nicer polo/oxford/button down. basically dress like you would if you were meeting your girlfriends parents

Maybe dress a little nicer on first impression, but if dressing hella frat and all that isn't something you like to wear/don't wear often, typically guys can tell and you will come off as a try hard. Just be yourself man and do what you think is right. I think it's more important to be social than dress nice during rush. No one wants a goob that doesn't know how to talk to people.
