freshman girls at frat parties
by: sunnysideIs it true that girls going to frat parties first semester is not allowed or "looks bad" when planning to rush. How do people even know you're a freshman . Please explain
#1by: Yes and no
I would say the closer it gets to rush you should probably not go out. You are definitely not able to go out once rush has started. If you do go out please handle yourself In a respectful manner because you'll be surprised to see that girls may remember seeing you out. I mean there's no way to directly tell if you're a freshmen but most times unless the party is open a sorority and fraternity are paired and won't open until midnight so trying to get in before then may make a few people mad.
#2by: Be careful
The biggest mistake a freshman can make first semester is to go out and get sloppy drunk or start hooking up with a bunch of guys. This behavior is never flattering. However, if you create a reputation for yourself before recruitment, you will surely be one of the pnms with no invites back. Sorority members are watching and they will remember you--at your best or your worst.

#5by: not true
I stayed away from frats all first semester before rushing and realized it was a stupid mistake. they don't care at all as long as you're not being sloppy/blacking out on their property.
if you do go to a frat, don't hu with any randoms, don't get too drunk, just generally be careful and don't piss anyone off. you'll be fine
#7by: so stupid
Freshman girls have it beat into their head not to go out first semester. i didn't at all because i was terrified of getting black listed, and realized how stupid that was after joining a house. you can go out at midnight when the frats open, it's really not a big deal. as long as your not falling all over yourself being sloppy or making a scene, nobody really cares that much.
