do grades matter?

Do sororities take your GPA into consideration during recruitment? Will a very high college or high school GPA help? If so, which sororities care most?

each sorority has a minimum gpa that must be met in order to be consider for membership usually around a 2.5-3.0 min college gpa, if you have a high gpa it will help for all chapters to consider you.

on another note, for fraternities it matters a little. If a house really likes you your high school gpa wont matter really, but if your on the edge and they see you are an idiot with a 2.0 then it could be the difference between getting in and not.Contrary to popular belief, fraternities want well-rounded gentlemen so a high gpa can be a good sign. If you have the drive to get good grades, you show that you could potentially make the fraternity better.
