rushing again
by: AlxxOkay, I'm just curious as to who actually rushed again another semester when they had previous did it beforehand. It wasn't like I didn't receive a bid, more like I didn't make it through the entire process. So now I'm wondering how does it work going through the process again and how much do you tell them?

Did you get dropped or drop yourself? And why?
Sometimes if you drop yourself halfway through no one will care, like if you just didn't feel like it was the right fit or something. But if you drop just because it was too hard or time consuming most respectable houses won't give you a bid.
If you got dropped by them it kinda depends on what you did. If the house you're rushing finds out you pledged a different house they'll probably ask a friend in that house what happened and go from there.
This also really depends where you're trying to get in. Top and middle houses are much more picky with rush so just keep that in mind

How would they know I received a bid this semester btw??
All I know is I had a hunch the real reason I was dropped, but I found out it was someone didn't like me. My friend who got dropped told me the exact same line of why he was let go. I found out some of the specific brothers had problems with older pledges. I just find it ridiculous because the reason we got a bid is because a majority liked us.
