After that there really is no real focus on academics. The make a fake/contrived focus once in a while. It tends to be all communications majors who fake an interest in academics. Honestly, I don't feel that most of these women do very well in the working world. I know a lot of them, so I can say that for real. Seriously, the SDSU greek system is not a place for someone looking for an academic environment.

You really don't sound like somebody that would make it into a top house anyway.

i don't want an academic enviroment all the time..i want to study when it's necessary but also having fun in my free time..so i want study at classes and some hours a week and being with the sisters and having fun in my free time.i'm not a person who's studying everytime.is impossible to be in a top house and study a difficult degree?or is it possible?i am organized and i think i could party and study like i've done always.

I'm in a top house,YES one of the 3 that are always mentioned here,I STUDY when I have to study and I PARTY when I could party. you can do both things if you want,don't listen anybody here,if you have the personality that matches with a top house you could be in one although you're studying a difficult major. we stay together in our free time like you've said but we also study for tests so pleeeeasseeeeee don't listen anybody here. all of them are GDI, or people who hate greek system. this web is a joke..

if you are in DG , you need to know that isn't a top house either. The top houses aren't academic.

I would say DZ, AEPhi GPhi, and AGD care the most about academics. It really also depends on the girls in the house. Most houses have a minimum GPA, etc. I think your best bet for genuine girls and academics and fun would be DZ or AGD. I would definitely look into these two sororities and contact them. AGD has recruitment events this week that you can attend if you are interested. DZ has already done their events but are always doing COR (continuous open recruitment) so if you want you can contact them. Hope this helps!
