rushing as junior

Hello, I am currently a sophomore and I was going to Spring rush but my GPA is 2.4, would it better to wait for Fall so GPA is up, but by then I will be a junior so I just wanted opinions. Thanks.

IMO it would be better to wait! You would have a better chance considering most houses will not take grade risks! Good luck!

Why is your GPA low? If it is related to one semester/event that you can explain, then I would say do spring rush and explain your situation to the membership chairman. Since there are fewer girls going through spring rush, you have a better chance of having them remember you individually not one of 1700. If it doesn't work out, then you can always rush again in the fall as a junior but houses don't like to take a lot of juniors either. They may take a couple but they really want girls who can invest years into the chapter.
