by: Nice but ShyHi! I was wondering if being a little shy in the beginning when talking to members of the houses will be a mark against me? I can be a little quiet and shy when I don't know someone in the beginning but once I start to talk to them and get to know them, I am super outgoing and fun. Will houses think I have no personality and not pick me because I take a while to warm up?

Not going to lie set one is very important. You have to open up. You'll be nervous at the very first house and then after that you'll probably get used to it. My suggestion is, ask questions about greek life and the sorority you're in at that moment. Make conversation YOURSELF. And if you're super nervous you can say that, it might make you feel more comfortable being honest and so the girl you're talking to will also know you aren't being 100% yourself.

i was shy too and really scared but after the first house, i got over my shyness because all the girls in every house are really welcoming and nice and make you feel totally comfortable. im a pretty shy person but i ended up in a top house and i have become a lot more outgoing since joining a sorority
