scared
by: PnmI just went to an Arizona orientation and everyone is saying if you don't have a 3.0 it's extremely unlikely any house is going to give you a bid and strongly recommended don't rush in the fall. Is that true or are they just trying to weed kids out because they don't want Greek life to mess with their academics?

I'm a girl, I had a 2.8 when I rushed as a freshman. I had a semi-decent schedule every day of rush. I ended up getting into a house I really didn't want, but have since grown to love it more than anything.
The best thing I can tell PNMs with low gpas, and PNMs in general is to keep an open mind. Not just during recruitment, but after you receive your bid. Even if its to a house you hated during rush. Some houses are incredibly different than what they appear like during rush, and that goes for top and bottom houses. I will say this, I am in a bottom house but I love it and I wouldn't change it for anything.
