Honestly how likely is it that you will get into a fraternity in the fall? Plus if you don't get into one can you have any fun. Are there parties for guys not in fraternities?

There's around a 60% bid rate for every guy that goes through rush. This means that about half the guys that go through rush will get a bid from at least 1 IFC house. Non fraternity parties are average at best.

They changed rush rules to make it so pretty much everyone who rushes will get a bid so you're good for fall

As long as you don't do anything stupid, and maximize your options, yes, you will get a bid somewhere. It hardly ever happens where girls don't get bids, and when it does happen, its because the girl suicided. If you're willing to accept a bid anywhere, you're fine.
