2.5 gpa?

I have a 2.5 gpa because I come from one of the top private schools in the country, the grading system is weird and the basic, standard classes are basically honors classes in a normal school. Is there anyway I can explain that to the Greek life? I don't want to get screwed over and not get a bid because of my overally competitive high school.

depends on if you're a guy or girl but regardless your GPA will affect your rush experience. im a girl and i was in the exact same situation with a 2.7 GPA and i did get cut from some houses who later sent me letters saying that the only reason i got cut was because of my GPA, but i ended up in an amazing house. it really comes down to if the houses like you or not. if you can win them over with your personality you should be fine. trust the process! you can always drop if you dont like the houses you get this year and rush next year. good luck :)

Yes, you can! After filling out your sorority/fraternity application, you can also send a letter into Panhellenic. Explain why your GPA is low. They will notify the houses.
