rush for guys--only fall fr year? how about sprin

Is rush throughout year for guys? Do most guys live in dorm 1st semester/1st whole year? Or, do most pledge right away? I want to rush but want to get my feet under me with college 1st semester

rush is fall and spring. most people only live in the dorms for one year.
