observations on pledge classes

Tri Delt, Theta, ADPi, Kappa
Static Pledge Class:
GPhi, DG, Sigma, AChiO
Downgraded Pledge Class:
Aphi, Pi Phi, AEPhi, ChiO
Top houses are still top, middle are still middle, and bottom are still bottom these are just observations on the newest PC's. Share opinions.

I think Kappa's new pledge class was good enough to put them above Gphi. Let's be honest, Gphi has been decreasing in quality for at least 3 years, while Kappa has been on the up and up.
But I think a lot of people don't see the quality of kappa's pc yet because their bid day outfits were atrocious. Give it time and people will be ranking them above gphi.
Top house is up in the air. With pi phi and aphi both decreasing in quality, no one really knows who is #1. I used to think it was Pi Phi. Now I might say Aphi.
Was the PNM pool just awful this year or something?

Definitely not. Kappa is FOR SURE above DG this year and at the same level as gphi.

Legacies are ruining alpha phi and Pi phi, because they are good chapters everyone is sending their daughters there and with legacy policies of both sororities sometimes they have to take beat legacies

I don't think you know anything about how legacies work.
There are 0 chapters that have the policy that you must give bids to legacies. Zero. None. Zilch.

I agree Kappa over gphi . As far as number 1 if you want pretty, party and a little on the rachet side then go Alpha Phi. If you want pretty classy and smart then Pi Phi So it's all in what you're looking for. Bottom line is Pi Phi and. Alpha Pi are always top 2. I know a lot of girls that their top 2 in pref were Pi Phi & Alpha Phi but chose Pi Phi. So no more people saying that girls got what they did cuz they couldn't get in to alpha phi. Pi Phi was their first choice.

I don't see the top houses ever changing tbh. It's the same every year..."pretty" girls overall with a handful of knockouts, and then the bunch that don't seem to fit the stereotype. It's like that with every house here that is considered top. No sorority is going to get an entire PC of girls that fit their desired stereotype and maybe that's a good thing.

You are right to some degree - it does take a lot to dramatically change the ranks, however, they have shifted through the years and some have moved up high.
My aunt was here in the early 80's. Back then the top houses were Pi Phi, Gamma Phi, and DG, Kappa was just beneath those three. Alpha Phi was a very middle-tier house. Chi O was middle tier. Tri-Delt was bottom. Theta was "upper middle tier". ADPi was middle tier. Sigma Kappa was very new, so they were near bottom. Not sure what Alpha Phi did to move up to the top, but it can be done and I'm rooting for Tri-Delt for keep improving their classes to become a solid house.
But historically, Pi Phi, DG, Gamma Phi and Kappa have always had very strong chapters. Theta did too for a long time.

ummm what is this even based off of? every single bottom/middle tier house has improved and the top houses have downgraded. the houses are slowly becoming more and more even which in my opinion is a great thing. they're all still unique in their own way obviously but the competition is not nearly as superficial and catty as it used to be. aphi, DG, SK, and Pi Phi definitely had weaker pledge classes this time around, but they were already top houses so it's not like they really needed a boost. theta, kappa, and gphi pretty much stayed the same. however, ADPI and AEPHI are both on the rise 100% and you would agree if you actually did your research. meet them, talk to them, check out their social media.. the last two years so many potential top house girls have accepted a bid from both houses. axo and tri delt are slowly working their way up to. the game is changing for the better for sure. Great work girls
