Tbh they're all boring af. Sorority recruitment vids are just a dumb thing that every house does because all the other houses do it, but let's be real: the vids are all pretty much the same.
Ooh, look at how beautiful everyone is... wow, look, they do stuff together outdoors... lots of hugging, yay sisterhood... omg look at that goofy thing they are doing, it must mean they are down to earth... aww, a cuddly animal, I love animals too... and there they are eating some kind of delicious dessert, yummy... and wow, I saw 1-2 minorities in there, they must be sooo diverse... omg this must be the top sorority at the UofA!!!
Come on, this is just a PR ploy and a waste of money. It won't sway any PNM's opinion and if anything it makes the entire sorority system look super generic. It looks like the exact same girls doing the exact same stupid things in all of the houses when we all know our sororities are so much more than that.

That's a fair point. If we can all agree that they're cookie cutter hype McVideos maybe people won't feel the need to comment or cut down on any house's video.

I agree with what you're saying but recruitment videos aren't meant to sway opinions. They're meant to get PNMs excited for rush. They're hype videos. Promo videos. They're fun. But I agree, they are pretty cookie cutter.
