sororitys at this cool- honest opinion
by: ummIDK why girls talk about sororities the way they do here. You guys have pledge classes of about 100 people, don't even know all your sisters, plus, have minor or no new membership rituals. The only thing a sorority is good for is to make yourselves look as cool as you can so you can try to hook up with guys in houses way to cool for you. Other then to one up all other sororities, you guys all achieve perfect philanthropy results. None of you guys ACTUALLY care about what goes on in this world besides yourself and your insta pages. This website should be for FRATS! They are the only ones who actually do anything! Thanks for listening to my rant lol. Have a nice day migos

whats the point of a "sisterhood" if you guys are in a pledge class of 100 other girls. You're obviously not gonna meet everyone or know everyones name in your pc or your sorority. How is that a sisterhood??? You could have a tighter sisterhood with your dorm neighbors than your sorority. You girls are daft if you believe that a sorority is nothing more than a social status symbol.

That is a narrow minded statement! If you are basing your views from information on this site than your statement is not valid! Before you write such a judgmental post get educated on why sororities are still going strong and how members can benefit from them! You choose to stereotype and judge!

Sisterhood doesn't mean you have to be best friends with everyone in your pledge class. Also, I know all the names of every girl in my pc. It's really not that hard. I may not be best friends with all of them, but we all share a special bond and purpose because we all joined the same house.
You seem to have a narrow minded view of what sisterhood means. Just because you define it in one way doesn't mean you're right.
I have really close bonds with my sisters. I don't see my sorority as a status symbol even though I'm in a top house. I love my sisters, and my sorority. The fact that you're trying to tell me I don't know what sisterhood means is totally ridiculous.

What does this even mean? Philanthropies and formals have nothing to do with each other. Unless you're trying to say that the only reason girls go to fraternity philanthropies is so they can get invited to formal? In that case, you do realize that sororities host their own philanthropies right? And we raise way more than fraternity philanthropies do on average.

Based on what? This isn't an opinion matter. It's flat out incorrect. Sororities in general are way more involved in philanthropies, extracurriculars, etc, than fraternities and WAY more involved than non-greeks.
