determining tiers

It is based on looks but it's also based on involvement, like how many girls go to support philanthropy events that frats and other houses throw etc, and it's based on what frats ask who to homecoming and spring fling although typically the top 5 frats just switch off between asking the top 5 sororities every year. It's also somewhat based on gpa and campus involvement in general but yes looks and sorority/PC class size are big factors!

It is largely based on looks, but how big your philanthropy events are on campus, how much money you raise for the cause you're supporting during these events, how present you are at other greek life events, how active and involved you are on campus in and outside of the greek life community, how many new members you attract (and keep) every year, etc are also all contributing factors!

This site is 1000% based off looks. Don't believe anyone who is trying to make it seem less shallow, it's not. If the tiers were about anything other than looks there would be a VERY different order of "best" to "worst" houses. Get off this website honestly, I know I looked at it during rush and so when I ended up in a "top house" (that I later dropped) I was so happy, just like any stupid girl straight out of high school would be. College is a very different place, popularity doesn't matter, and if I had realized that earlier and gotten off this site I probably would have been in a house that I was completely in love with, surrounded by girls who actually lifted me up and made me a better person.
