which sororities spring rush?
by: Spring rushI dropped out of rush because my top houses dropped me and I couldn't picture myself being in any other houses but now that I see all my friends so happy in their sororities I wish I had stayed and given the houses I had left an opportunity. I want to do spring rush but what houses actually do spring rush?

I would start out getting friends in the house you want and spending time there so the rest of the house gets to know you then when the time is right ask about spring rush

It's not that weird. You won't be the only one doing it and you'll be contacting the girl who's job it is to handle those type of requests. But if you're uncomfortable, you can contact panhellenic first. Ask them about spring rush, (or fall COB if you don't want to wait until spring) and they can most likely direct you towards the houses that will be giving out bids.

COB stands for continuous open bidding. Basically just means that the house will continuously give out bids throughout the semester. And you'd be considered part of pc16. I know tri delt and probably axo does it but you should contact panhellenic to find out exactly which houses are doing it.

Total is set at 308. The only sororities below 308 right now are AEPhi, Tri Delt, and AChiO so they can do COB this semester. DG, ADPi and SK are somewhat above total so they might or might not Spring Rush. It all depends how things go for them this semester. SK usually has to do Spring rush b/c so many of their new members drop. The rest (Kappa, Chi O, Theta, APhi, Pi Phi, GPhi) are way above total so no way they'll be doing COB or any kind of spring rush. Hope this helps.

it depends every year like they said on numbers. last year i believe the sororities that did spring rush were: a phi (mostly friends of friends...someone i know asked if they had spring rush but the board said no even though they did so its kinda sketch), axo, aephi, sk, tri delt, adpi (they don't do spring rush every year though). the ones that didn't were: pi phi, dg, chi o (they never do spring rush), kappa, theta
