rushing as a sophomore

by: ....

Hi I was planning on rushing as a sophomore in the fall. I dropped out of rush last year due to feeling like I was starting too much at a new time in my life. I have a 2.75 and have made friends in many different sororities in the past year. Do you think it will be possible for me to go through rush and recieve a bid to a house?

You can go through rush - but your GPA is going to get you cut after Open House from just about everyone.

That's the minimum to go through rush, it doesn't mean you'll get any invites with a 2.75. Your GPA is low. You won't be helping any sorority to improve their GPA. Why don't you ask your friends who are in sororities?

Take a summer class or two online. Your GPA is a tad bit low. 2.75 might be the minimum but the unspoken rule is that you need a 3.0 or you're viewed as a liability.
