When they're in front of you... they're nice. When your back is turned... they're judgmental. As others have said... this chapter is cliquey with a poor sisterhood and is made up of girls who are involved with the baptist student ministry.

people only join this chapter bc it’s easy to get in and transfer to another college and reaffiliate. it’s harder at top tier colleges to get into specific sororities. that’s why people only join them transfer somewhere else. some of them are super cool but everyone else just acts like they’re your friends and then talk behind your back. their sisterhood is very forced. they act like they all get along but really they have cliques within each other. i guess that’s cause i’m their ritual it says to keep personal matters within the sorority but that’s why a lot of girls drop or transfer.

If you are transferring next semester/year and want to be apart of Greek life, wait to rush until you transfer to a school where Greek life is more relevant. Greek life isn’t huge at Commerce so if that’s what you want to do, definitely wait because other schools have a lot more options and recruitment is a much bigger deal. However, if you are staying at commerce all 4 years, by all means, find the group you click with. Do not stress about recruitment, Greek life means so little here so honestly, choose the house that you get along with the most. Don’t base it on anything else but that because it’s truly not worth stressing over!!

It’s funny when chi o’s come on here to say they’re not cookie cutter when the entire chapter is blonde white girls who all join the same clubs, and do the same things

Lots of mean girls, and cliquey. If you don’t fit in with them they shun you out till you quit. They’ll be friendly to your face but talk behind your back, it’s awful. At parties they stay in groups and talk about everyone else, hardly any guys even socialize with them because of it.
