The Quran according to The Prophet Mohammed (Peace be upon him) as explained by intelligence.
🔹 1. Killing Innocents Is Absolutely Forbidden
Qur'an 5:32 (paraphrased for clarity):
“Whoever kills a soul—unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land—it is as if he had slain all of mankind. And whoever saves one, it is as if he had saved all of mankind.”
This verse has long been cited in Islamic ethics to condemn the killing of innocents, including civilians, women, children, and the elderly.
The Prophet himself echoed this principle:
"Do not kill women or children or non-combatants and do not kill old people or religious devotees."
— (Musnad Ahmad, Abu Dawood, al-Tirmidhi)
"Beware! Whoever is cruel and hard on a non-Muslim minority, curtails their rights, burdens them, or takes anything from them against their free will, I will complain against the person on the Day of Judgment."
— (Abu Dawood)
The killing of civilians at a music festival, the murder of women and children, or the taking of civilian hostages falls directly under what the Prophet condemned as forbidden acts, regardless of the political context.
🔹 2. Even in Warfare, Islam Mandates Restraint and Mercy
Qur'an 2:190:
“Fight in the way of Allah those who fight you but do not transgress. Indeed. Allah does not like transgressors.”
This is one of the clearest verses making transgression in warfare sinful, and those who go beyond the ethical bounds of combat are acting against God’s commands.
Attacks like those on October 7th violate multiple conditions:
They were not conducted strictly against combatants
They included the intentional targeting of non-combatants
There was no distinction between civilians and military targets
There was no legitimate claim of immediate defensive necessity
🔹 3. Does This Invoke the Wrath of Allah?
Very possibly, yes — based on the Qur’an’s warnings for unjust violence:
Qur'an 4:93:
“Whoever kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell to abide therein forever, and the wrath and curse of Allah are upon him, and a dreadful penalty is prepared for him.”
While this verse refers specifically to the killing of a fellow believer, Islamic scholars agree that the intentional killing of any innocent person, regardless of religion, is a major sin, and subject to divine wrath.
The Prophet said:
"A man will continue to be sound in his religion so long as he does not kill someone unlawfully."
— (Sahih al-Bukhari)
🔹 4. What About Oppression and Occupation?
Islam recognizes the right to resist oppression, but resistance must:
Target legitimate military threats
Avoid harm to civilians
Pursue peace if peace is offered
Qur'an 8:61:
“And if they incline to peace, then incline to it [also] and rely upon Allah. Indeed, it is He who is the Hearing, the Knowing.”
Even if one claims to be fighting occupation, the methods matter. Terror, mutilation, rape, and murder of innocents are not just forbidden — they are acts that desecrate the very idea of jihad.
✅ Conclusion
From the standpoint of the Prophet Muhammad’s teachings:
The October 7th attacks are not jihad in any sense he would recognize.
They violate key Qur’anic principles of justice, proportionality, and protection of non-combatants.
They are more likely to invite divine punishment than reward.
If done in the name of Islam, such acts represent a perversion of the religion — not a fulfillment of its commands.
