big 4/big 6

dont expect FIJI or SAE to even look at you. You are the same as GDI's to them. Sig Ep will probably also shun you too but for them it is more of an image thing and less because they don't actually care about you. Kappa Sig might compromise but they are almost in the same boat as Sig Ep. Prepare to get to know Machi KA and Delt pretty well.

I agree with you, girl. I would not have rushed if I hadn't made connections in the good houses and been 150 million % prepared. You just have to know it's a bit unfair ahead of time. you honestly could just drop out if you're not prepared and rush as a sophomore. join a sports team. we love that

^take her advice and drop if you're good quality, but you know you don't have a shot aka maybe you're oos with no recs etc. Drop before we make first cuts. We've been finalizing those this afternoon. Sophomore year, I'm telling you. Take a year to shine, get kickass grades, join a team, dance, do something. Network. Get your recs in early for next year. I'm dead serious.

This post and all the replies are hilarious. It makes the whole greek system look like a bunch of superficial idiots. Guys can't tell if they like a girl or not unless he knows her sorority and girls who lack so much self esteem that they have to be in a certain sorority to get a guy to talk to her. I thought you had to be smart to get into UT?

Very true! If you don't get in to a Big 6 and want to hang out at the Big 4 fraternities, you need to be hot AND bring a Big 6 friend or you'll be ignored and feel awkward.
