how important is your gpa for rush??

If you're a freshman, you wouldn't have gotten into UT with a bad GPA. Unless you got in because you're an athlete or other reasons that would make your GPA too different than everyone else, GPA isn't much of a factor. Now if you're not a freshman or a transfer, you'd better have a high GPA. There are some houses that won't even look at you if you don't have at least a 3.5 or 3.6 even if a lot of members know you and like you.
