by: wonderingI'm considering going to UT for school next year, and I've always wanted to rush. But I'm not from Texas, so is it even possible I'll get a bid? From reading this page it seems like you only get a bid if some girls in the sorority know you from high school.

Pretty hard unless you know someone in the houses .. Even if you get great letters of recs know alums and have a lot goin for you. Most houses will cut you , rushing sophomore year however when you know more people is supposedly a lot better esp for out of state girls. Greek here is extremely intense and selective
