Theta Mothers at Preff party?

Desperation makes people do weird things. This year they will be more than ever after last disastrous pc hated each other so much. Maybe if their moms hadn’t skipped them in they would have gone to houses where they could be happy lol

Fully grown woman here. I would not dream of doing this to my daughter. I don’t care how a mother justifies it to herself but it screams her own issue of insecurity. I absolutely ADORE my daughter and hope she has a perfect rush. I trust that she will call me if needs to vent or talk things through. But in NO WAY will I be telling her who she will spend her next 4 years with as “sisters”. I was in a fabulous sorority with a genuine sisterhood and I trust my daughter to find her own people. Shame on these mothers showing up on anything but bid day to celebrate wherever their daughter finds their home.

Such a turn off! Saw some of the same moms at the late nights too. Completely obliterated - like mother like daughter so not really surprised. One kept playing with my guy friends hair- we kept trying to figure out if she was lonely and hitting on them or just blacked lol

And yes Theta does this - it’s really awkward for the girls.

Yes PiPhi absolutely does this. My godmother and aunt were at my pref. I know they were trying to be sweet but felt strange and forced.

You must be a very because as a very recent grad I can tell you Pi Phi has NEVER done this nor do they need to. My current roommates mother and grandmother were also Pi Phis- and they didn’t need to step foot on campus to pressure young women who are supposed to be old enough to make their own decisions.

Take your false insecure narrative elsewhere- obviously back to the pink house where they are particularly skilled at lying and cover ups.

New here but that is interesting wording. Must need an enormous amount of advisors “behind the scenes” both outside helping girls find their way to the door and inside checking to make sure no one is gagging. Exactly how many mothers pardon me, “advisors”, does it take to pressure a young girl to pick your sorority? Not sure how the rest of the sorority houses are full of young ladies able to successfully handle that themselves but explains a lot.
VERY Strange indeed.

I didn’t mean that our advisors are actually involved in the pref night party; they help beforehand with looking over everything we have planned to make sure it doesn’t violate any of the policies and then we have a couple available during the party in case of emergency like if anyone needs medical assistance, etc. The PNMs don’t ever interact with them unless they needed to step in to help a sick PNM or something.
