Truth on Sororities at UT
by: breatheThe truth about every sorority at UT is you are not going to best friends with everyone in your member class. I don't know any srat that actually is. The truth is your probably will have 5-10 close friends and the rest you are friendly with and a few you may not be friends with at all. And in every PC you wonder... how did that girl end up here with me we are nothing a like at all. The rankings are not true on here. Every srat has like 5 girls who are the face of the sorority, when people think of the srat. However the truth is everyone just minds their business within their srat and everything is always a bigger deal within the srat when in reality no one really cares in other srats. Don't let the rankings fool you every soroity has a mix bag of girls. You will find your friends but do not expect to be everyones bestie. By junior year no one even cares about srats anymore and if that is your biggest personality trait its a red flag. It is more about the friendships.

unless you go theta - then the 5-10 girls you think you are close friends with really aren't your friends at all and even though you think you are on the right text there are other ones going on talking sht about you and then you get threatened if you don't vote on someone being in or out and if kool enuf and you all get called to standards but nothing really happens because our grade was only one stupid enough to name the text and be so obvious about it - wish we could cut at least half the pledge class

the WORST are the girls that only hang with their own high school friends and sorority - why are you in greek life at all? look like insecure and immature sheeple
altogether now, on wednesdays we wear pink....
GTFU - might be surprised how many people won't talk behind your back like "frenemies"

Every sorority has their leadership position filled by the Juniors and Seniors and are supported by their friends/sisters. Stop pushing a false narrative- I agree with the post -
