is it hard to get sorority bids????
by: transferi am coming to ut austin as a transfer going through recruitment. i don't know anyone. will it be really hard to get a bid in any sorority?

Honestly some of the sororities have their selections made before rush even starts. Forget them anyway--they think way too much of themselves. . . Just go to the houses and see who you vibe with--let them know you're interested--and it will be fine.
BUT! There are a lot of girls, and some names simply get lost in the shuffle. If you don't get a bid from who you want, you can drop and try for a C.O.B. a bit later.
Avoid the houses who are known for politics and drama, and it can be pretty fun.
