sigep assault case

by: Trigger warning

Is sigep being investigated for their pledges behavior? It’s definitely one of the houses where girls feel the safest

They don't have pledges. They initiate real quickly, unless he's ACC and was being carried off the books.

It seems pretty easy to determine if he was paying dues & if the “new initiates” considered him a pledge. Was he on their OU bus? People will talk.

ACC "ghost pledges". Great idea! Nationals will have liability exposure, but receive no fees or dues.
What could possibly go wrong?

Who wouldn't want to own a fraternity? What a great business model!

Membership reviews are conducted by the HQ staff, usually the Executive Director and at least one or two staff members and alumni. This process is where the HQ examines the behavior and attitudes of each member in the chapter to see if they are living up to the standards of the National Fraternity (chapter operations, Balanced Man Program® Proficiency, Risk management, academics) by interviewing all members. Auditing for substance abuse may be conducted using urinalysis or hair follicle protocols. After the interviews and forensic examination of the chapter is completed, the HQ will determine what members will stay and what members get removed from active membership. Once the termination of a few or several members is complete, the HQ staff and alumni partners will outline a new chapter standard of operations for every member to follow going forward. This will include following the probation or suspension guidelines with violating them, focus on leadership training and team building, risks of hazing and alcohol abuse, increase philanthropy projects, mandatory attendance and participation in all national events on the award winning Leadership Continuum™.
