It's a 16 year old birthday party. Someone is cool enough to steal three beers from their dad for everyone to drink at the sleepover.

Sig Ep dry at other schools is not going well. Some of their top chapters dropped to middle and middle chapters dropped to bottom. Also their dry houses attracked only geeds, losers and weirdos. Go read other school discussion boards on this site about Sig Dry Ep. BTW, their national trolls this site 24/7 posting the same crap about thejr dry, substance free BMP.

From what I heard from o
Greeks at other schools is that dry Sig Ep houses are vecoming too weak and too woke. Quality guys that would rush in the past are looking at Sig Ep as a service and academic club rather then a social fraternity. It's sad, but their Balance Man Program is hurting their chapters instead of making them strong. So many chapters either disaffiliated or surrendered their charters. And yes their national does monitors this site and keeps posting the same BS on every school board.

But a UT SigEp alum is on the board of directors of SigEp. He's literally in charge of making these new rules and programs.

Sig Ep nationally is a dry fraternity or even hold real mixers according to their Balance Man Program. Might as well join an academic or professional club.

SigEp is committed to being a different kind of fraternity – one that recognizes the importance of the out-of-classroom experience and is committed to making that experience the safest and most empowering part of a college male’s life. SigEp is unique in that our brotherhood and all fraternity events are alcohol and substance free by choice. The brothers feel that the brotherhood we are constantly striving to build does not require alcohol to exist. The chapter also works to encourage other fraternities toward eradicating dangerous and illegal alcohol consumption.

The real SigEps all quit the national fraternity because they banned drinking and turned pledging in to just downloading the Balanced Man app. Current chapter is just SimpEp, they're aren't even real brothers

After having been given ample opportunity to do so, fraternities have proven that they are incapable of regulating and controlling themselves. Yes, there will always be rogue chapters who tarnish the fraternities image; but the time has now come for universities and colleges to tell them what they can and cannot do. It's not gonna be pretty, and we will probably see a decline in the numbers of fraternal organizations. Only those that get on board and embrace these opportunities will survive.

SigEp has demonstrated a commitment to creating a new normal for fraternities. SigEp has removed pledging from its membership experience and established substance-free chapter houses as the nationwide standard. We’ve done away with archaic and dangerous activities. We believe these steps were necessary to accomplish our mission of promoting academic excellence and empowering our young men to lead with integrity, not just now but for the rest of their lives. Our entire society as America benefits from a generation of values-based leaders.

Sacrificed on the altar of Balance Man

If you have done your research on SigEp, nationally they are a dry, substance free fraternity that focuses more on leadership, academics and human well being. This is all part of the balance man program (BMP) which most of their chapters are under, maybe not the UT chapter, but give it time before they are forced to convert.

SigEp nationals is deadly serious about shutting this chapter down, and re-colonizing under the Balanced Man Program and Substance-Free rules. They could care less about this chapter's local claims to be top tier socially.
