So the No.1 fraternity at the great University of Texas is a completely rogue organization not recognized by UT or SAE and 1/2 of its most recent pledge class is ACC? You must be on a combo of heroin and LSD....

Ridiculous anyone considers Rho a viable option. Guys who just pledged will literally never be SAEs. They are simply members of the local fraternity RHO. Of course, much of that pledge class will never go to UT Austin either. The Thetas sure love them though.....

Whether or not rho is recognized, they're still top tier until the top sororities stop hanging with them

agree

Rho is pulling most of the Thetas and a few Kappas and Pi Phis...especially older Pi Phis
Fiji is pulling most of the Kappas and someThetas and Pi Phis

Sig Ep mainly chi O, and zeta but some of all the other big six too

KA: mainly zeta, and Tri Delta with some Chi O and a few Kappas showing up
ZBT has all of big six coming to stuff and rest too

All the rest pretty much pull from all the rest with some of big six -especially Tri Delta this year- showing up sometimes to Kappa Sig, Delt, Pike, and Phi Psi

These would be big 6 but not in any way am I saying they are too 6 as Delt, Sigep, and ZBT are ahead of some of them but the oldest, most traditional fraternities have that are still here are Fiji, SAE, KA, SigChi, Ksig. So big 6 would be those founding five + Phi Delt or ATO or Snu (RIP to the three of them). If Phi Delt were still big like before 2000s, they would be a lock but unfortunately, numbers forced them to close. ATO would prob be the best pick since Snu is never coming back. They only recently got kicked off and might be back again and strong. If so it would be Fiji, SAE, KA, SigChi, Ksig, ATO. Let’s hope they do and make a great addition to GL. That being said, rankings wise it would be:
TIER 1: Fiji, SAE, SigEp, KA
TIER 2: ZBT, Delt, SigChi, Ksig
Etc. - this being in order within tiers. Same as how big 6 doesn’t mean top 6 anymore as Aphi overtakes tri delt. Basically big 6 fraternities and sororities are the oldest organizations on campus and almost exclusively recruit southern kids if not only Texas kids. Hope this helps
