rushing as a sophomore

If I drop from Rush and try again next year as a sophomore, will I have a better chance? I really loved 3 houses, but I got cut from them today. I have a few more I'm ok with left, but REALLY wanted one of the other 3. And no, it's not PKT

Don't drop. Your best chance is now, not as a soph. Pref can be a game changer and can make you fall in love with a house you are just ok with now. Keep going!

A lot of houses have a once cut policy where even if you rush as a sophomore, if they’ve cut you in the past, they’ll cut you again. So now is likely your best bet.

It depends on how you use that year. You have to actively work to meet girls in sororoties. And your chances don’t go up that much.

I know some who got into Tri Delt year 2. Another who didn’t get a bid. You are right - it varies.
