how do you rush as an out of state student here!?

Hey, so I'm looking to join a fraterniity at UT but I'm out of state and I've reached out to like 4 or 5 different rush chairs expressing my interest in rushing, but literally none of them responded. My emails were nothiing much just my name and me saying that I'm interested in rushing and then asking how to go about the process with that specific chapter.
My question is how the hell do I get out there and rush if I don't know when anythinig is going on and no groups respond to my emails? All I know is that a lot of ithappens during the summer, but I can't just drive down to these events since I'm out of state.
Anyone got any advice?

Big difference on how you go about rushing them. Which specific fraternities? They all do it differently. See if u can meet some members during orientation a lot of rush happens then

well I'm already a student here and I don't really have anything that specific in mind, I guess ato, sigma chi, pike, etc. stuff like that
