Sigma chi is way better than delt and about to pass kappa sig. They passed delt 2 years ago when they started getting big artists for their parties and they had pc's of 50+. Also, sigma chi has stole so many of sig ep and Fiji rushees. And kappa sigs are just all nerds that can't drink. Sigma chi has better parties and pulls better girls than them.

I doubt SigEps, Kappa Sigs, and Delts even get on this website, but if they did I'm sure they would think this is absolutely hysterical.
I'd be a pike before a sigma chi any day of the week. Their house is nicer and the guys don't have to try hard to maybe someday be accepted.

Bigger=\=better. You may have a larger pledge class, but they still have a much nicer house, more money, and whatnot.

Congrats to Sigma Chi for what they have done in the last 2 years. They have quadrupled the size of their chapter in nearly no time. However, I would like to note that they have reached their maximum potential. They will continue to get 50 + man pledge classes and compete with Delt, Pike and ATO and probably lead that pack without any problems. However, until they build a new house and new facilities they will never be on the same level as Fiji, SAE, KSIG, SigEP, or Omicron. Their very nice houses will continue to attract the cream of the crop high school students. And their huge increase in dues will veer those that aren't as financially blessed to other fraternities.
Disclaimer: I'm not saying the guys in the top houses are in anyway cooler; actually they are probably more socially awkward because they most likely went to private high schools. They are just rich with money and rich with family tradition.

Except I feel like even with their house, Omicron's lack of affiliation (and the fact that they aren't affiliating anytime soon) is going to see them keep falling, an I wouldn't be surprised if they get passed by at least Sigma Chi and Delt on their way down.

okay. thats why alot of pkt comes to our parties now. thats why every tridelt,zeta,chi o's comes out to our event. thats why we can get big name artists like DMX, Sammy Adams, Chiddy Bang. snd thats why we stole a lot of sig eps rushees. You guys will see, we already passed delt and kappa sig. and sig ep is next, especially after our renovations.

noticed thats the only reason ANYONE comes to yalls parties? if you havent noticed, the good houses dont need a name as big as DMX (which didnt even actually happen) to get people to their parties, people come because of the guys

Respect Sigma Chi for putting that effort into their parties, but at the moment they're upper middle tier. A lot of girls don't really like going to the top tier houses parties much though, because those guys tend to ignore them if they aren't big 6/already someone they know. People go places besides the top tier houses for the guys in them too, because girls without trust funds generally get ignored at SAE, Fiji, Sig Ep and Kappa Sig.

I agree. Omicron probably made the right decision to avoid their nationals killing their chapter, but they really should try to make terms with them, because UT is not a campus conducive of independent fraternities, and I believe they'll have a long way to fall before they reach the bottom if they don't correct their current course of action.

Even with a much smaller pledge class, at least they have the dignity to not come on here and pretend they're the best and actually know their place and aren't pretending they're top tier.
