University of Texas at Austin - UT 4.0 If you can't find your people at any of the sororities or fraternities at UT then you were not properly socialized as a child. There are sooo many different flavors and subgroups that it would be impossible to not find a handful of fun new friends at most if not all the houses. Those with a laundry list of upfront negative opinions based on cliches and stereotypes will have the hardest time. Have an open mind, we are all just people - xo

University of Texas at Austin - UT 4.0 UT Greek life is lively. Not too many fraternities like other SEC schools. Great parties. Lots of cute traditions.

University of Texas at Austin - UT 4.3 Greek life is pretty big at UT. Most of the bids for bigger frats are determined on where you went to high school. The hazing is pretty substantial, but every house hazes. It's a great environment and plenty of hot girls.

University of Texas at Austin - UT 4.8 Texas is a tough school to get into and the best of the best go on to greek life. Greek life is well over 100 years old here so it is much more pretigious than aggie greek life, for example.Frats spend lots on builds for their parties, both girls and guys have great houses, mostly well-off kids are greek. Sort of snobby overall because most of the greeks are smart and attractive but tons of fun.

Texas is a tough school to get into and the best of the best go on to greek life.
