double life

by: OOS Freshie

After reading a few posts, I'm just peculiar. I'm starting my freshman year at Harvard in the fall, and I plan on coming to Harvard and joining a fraternity, as well as a final club. Would I be able to do that? But, will Greek life continue on Harvard's campus?

Yes, a lot of people are in both fraternities and final clubs. To be honest, once people get into both--they tend to be less active in the former or even drop out all together (because of dues and fees). While (I think) all of the fraternities have at least 1-2 members in final clubs, only two fraternities (Sigma Chi and Kappa Sigma-- also widely considered the top two fraternities by far) have a significant amount of members in clubs. Probably around 20-25%.
