Thank You TDX! (From all of us)

To the Men of TDX –

I wasn’t in the house. I didn’t rush, didn’t pledge, didn’t wear your letters. But somehow — and I still don’t fully understand how — TDX ended up shaping my entire college experience at Wisconsin (as well as countless others).

From the outside, I caught glimpses of something different. There was always a magnetic energy around 144 Langdon. The music louder, the laughter realer, the friendships tighter. I’d walk by and think, those guys are on a different wavelength. And over time — through a random invite here, a couch spot there — I started orbiting the world of TDX.

I wasn’t on the list, but I was let in. I wasn’t in the group chat, but I was somehow always in the know. And I’ll be honest — some of the best nights of my college years started with, “we’re heading to TDX.”

You gave campus its heartbeat on game days. You turned ordinary Wednesdays into something unforgettable. Even as an outsider, I felt the pull — and I admired the way you guys showed up for each other, no matter what.

So, from someone who was never quite in — but who felt the impact all the same — thank you. You made this place feel a little more alive.

TDX didn’t just shape your four years. It shaped all of ours.
