Getting into frat parties

if u know brothers well u can probably get into some frat parties idk abt mixers. but you could rush again as a sophomore especially if you know ppl in frats bc you’ll prob get in if you know them well

It’s tough cuz almost every guy at the parties is a pledge or brother. Unless you show up later and know the guys at the door very well, you won’t get in.

If you have friends that are brothers (pledges might not be be able to get you in) then you can likely get in to most things later in the night (usually nights start off as mixers then open up). But if you are still feeling a longing for Greek life social life, rush first semester sophomore year. If you’re chill and know brothers, I’m sure you’ll get a bid. Also Michigan is pure of non-Greek social life! If you join a club/club sport there are house parties with that, bars/clubs, friends who are also not in Greek life I’m sure will be down for a drink or 4. Michigan offers tons of social activities, remember if about ~17-20% are in Greek life, what do the rest of social students do for fun? Make some friends that play club sports too, see if they’re doing house parties you can join, Michigan has endless opportunities to be entertained.
