You probably can rush but you you should consider whether you would want to at that point. Since you are required to live in the house for 1 year (usually the second year), that would rule you out if you are a Senior. If you got in as a Junior, you would likely be living with mostly Freshman and Sophomores. It’s just a guess, but that may be a reason why there may be a preference for younger pnms.

Many organizations have alumna membership for joining a sorority post graduation, and offers the benefits of membership as an alumna ( the networking/sisterhood/the alumnae clubs/etc.) By the time you’re a senior, if you haven’t joined yet, it might be better and just wait until you’re older-If you are the type of person who wants to be a part of something for any of the alumnae benefits. This would be another way in, at a time when it likely makes more sense. Alumnae initiate is what the panhellenic organizations call this. You can search online how to join.

Junior membership is also rare, but could happen in a chapter where they need membership numbers and don’t care that you likely won’t be living in. Not sure of an exact house that would apply to right now, but if you already have friends in a chapter like this, that might be your best bet/best hope.

seniors can get bids really rarely if the chapter likes them AND a sorority is super under quota (rip aoii) or if it's a new chapter and they may want more seniors for leadership idk. juniors probably have ok chances during fall rush but it gets steep after that. having multiple strong connections in a chapter is always good
