Deciding between 2 houses
by: Help pnmHi. I’m really stuck because I have a house that’s considered top and I see myself in it, but I also have a “mid” one that I see myself in too. Im worried I only want to pick the “top” one because of rank when I’ve had tons of amazing convos with the “mid”. Please help ease my concious

As someone in a top house, i actually regret it and wish i went with where i felt comfortable. My friends in “lower” sororities are so much more authentic with their friends and i am so much more myself when i am with them as opposed to people in my chapter as i feel constantly judged

this is a reason I think its not best to check this website during rush. Choose as if you hadn't known the ranks. Nine times out of ten you'd probably chose the mid house, which isn't bad at all in fact even better. Mids don't have the drama/intensity of the tops but still good socials and sisterhood which you might not find in the bottoms.

hey girl i’m telling you rank does not matter at all when your in a sorority. i was in your place last year and thank god i got dropped from my top sorority bid day and got my second option. i know i would’ve never found friends like i did and if i even had the chance to go to any other sorority i wouldn’t. people outside of greek life care more about rank than people within. i am in a “mid” sorority but literally during perf we were all tearing up and crying because of how much we realized we love each other. go where you know you can find genuine friends because in the long run that is the only thing that will matter. trust me

The bottoms have some of the best sisterhoods. When life isn’t about how you look and how much money you have real relationships can flourish.
