Phi girl just kept talking about random stuff

I was a little disappointed today when one of the phi girls I was talking to just kept talking about random stuff. She mentioned her grandma like out of the blue and just kept droning on with some pointless story. I was just confused and wanted to move on to another sorority. Nobody I've talked to has had a nice genuine experience with phi so far, I guess it is true they have their pc picked out from the start :(
