rushing, but signed a lease

hey ya'll I already signed a lease for next year, but am considering rushing. is it possible to get a bid from a sorority and not live there for sophomore year or no?

ok tbh a lot of houses do have requirements and that could get hard to deal with if you already have a lease. i had a friend who had the same issue tho. she signed before realizing she wanted to rush, but she ended up waiting to rush sophomore yr so she knew not to sign a new lease. now she lives in as a junior and loves it

Almost all houses are going to be pretty strict with the live-in requirement, but I know that KD has a very small house and that most sophomores live in apartments together after rushing (if they didn't sign a lease already)

Yeah. It’s a problem. Most will want you to live in and you’re going to want to live in. Or go KD. They have a small house and not every one can live in.

Some houses like axo tri delt kd etc don’t have enough space for everyone so it wouldn’t be too bad if you can’t live in. Others will make you pay $$$ for a live out/empty bed fee. Just rush anyways and pay close attention to the round where they talk about financials and living in the house. A lot of sororities really care about having most/all of the pc live in fair warning

most houses cant have their entire pc in the house anyways, so it doesn't matter
