why is aepi considered good?

It seems like aepi is widely considered to be a top frat at michigan as they have the prettiest girls going to their parites. But why exactly is that? The guys are worse looking than most mid to upper mid frats. And they are not as cool either

most mixers are determined by frat/sorority relations (which tend to come from more than just the current year) than which frats and sororities have the hottest guys/girls. AEPi has good relations with tridelt/phi/kappa. One bad pledge class won't change that. Now if it becomes a pattern on the other hand....
